Over 200 attended Kids Convention
in Great Falls, where they sang, performed, and
were ministered to in three services. Numbers
were saved for the very first time. Some were
filled with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and
many rededicated their lives. The songs were
fun. They were wonderful services. Scott Walberg
taught them truth that they will have for the
rest of their lives. They went home singing songs,
knowing the Scriptures, and understanding His
word.. It was a wonderful challenging weekend
for kids to understand how to use their lives,
and their abilitites to make a difference where
they live, on the buses, at their schools.

BGMC "pop
out campaign

The national BGMC office
is challenging kids to give up soda pop during
the month of November. The money that would
have been spent on soda pop would then be given
to BGMC, which helps needy children around
the world.
Kids
across the nation are to make a pledge to give
up soda pop for one,
two, or three weeks,
ending on Thanksgiving Day. On that day, kids
may once again drink soda pop—remembering
not only to be thankful for their own blessings,
but remembering the children around the world
who don’t get to celebrate the many material
blessings that we are thankful for on Thanksgiving
Day. Kids begin this challenge by taking pledges
from their parents. Parents are encouraged not
to purchase soda pop for their kids at restaurants
or at the grocery store. Parents then calculate
the savings from their household budgets and
pledge this amount towards their kids’ Pop
Out Challenge. (Pledge forms can be downloaded
on the BGMC Web Site.)
Kids can also get pledges from Grandma and Grandpa,
aunts, uncles, friends, teachers, and church-goers
in an attempt to raise as many funds as possible
by “Popping Out For Missions!” We
challenge you to not only have your kids take
the “Pop Out!” challenge, but to
take the challenge yourself as well. See if you
can raise more pledges than the highest child.
Kids love challenges like that. Perhaps the girls
can compete against the boys, or the kids against
the adults. Have fun as you “Pop Out for
Missions!”
